The Polar Leaf began with 41 founding members (as of March 31, 2017) — led by founder PBGen. Regino S. Catiis (Ret.) and his family, alongside dedicated members of the PNP and AFP, professionals from the medical field, and private individuals. Many are survivors themselves, or family and friends of those who have battled leukemia and other blood disorders.
Active and retired personnel who bring the foundation's mission into their units and communities.
Doctors, nurses, and health workers who volunteer their expertise for patients and their families.
Those who have walked the journey themselves and now walk it with others.
