Who We Are

A foundation born from service and survival

"A life lived for others is a life worth living."

The Polar Leaf was founded in 2017 by PBGen. Regino S. Catiis (Ret.) — a career officer of the Philippine National Police and a survivor of Acute Myeloid Leukemia. During his own battle and bone-marrow transplant, he saw how leukemia and blood disorders quietly devastate fellow officers, soldiers, and their families.

It is the first health foundation in the Philippines created specifically for PNP and AFP personnel and their dependents facing blood cancers — offering awareness, education, financial aid, and voluntary medical and spiritual support throughout their journey.
